The inhabited area of Galzignano Terme is located at the bottom of the gentle eastern slopes of the Euganean Hills, just as they meet the plain. The complex of Terme Euganee, which is located a short distance from the city of Padua, covers an area 12 Km long and 3 Km wide including Abano Terme, Montegrotto Terme, Battaglia Terme and Galzignano Terme.
Not far away, towards Galzignano Terme, you will meet Valsanzibio, seat of a modern Golf Club and of the famous Barbarigo villa (18th c.) with its splendid park, wanted by the Venetian Procurator Antonio Barbarigo and dating back to 1662-69, possibly the best example of Italian-style baroque garden in the whole of Veneto. The beautiful statues and architectonic decorations, the water plays, the famous labyrinth and the monumental entrance gate, called "Arch of Diana", are very interesting.
