Susegana is to be found to the north of the Marca Trevigiana area, close to the town of Conegliano and not far from the river Piave. Susegana is noted down in history for its links with the Counts of Collato, probably of Lombard origin, who built their castles in the surrounding hills.
Things to visit are: the private Church of Santa Maria which is close to the castle of San Salvatore, the castle of San Salvatore, the church of Susegana which houses the Pala del Pordenone altarpiece, the rural oratorio museum of Sant'Anna and the Bridge over the river Piave, in the locality of Ponte della Priula, an ideal place for a pleasant walk.
